I've been living here for about two years now; always had good times being here. The neighbors are pretty chill, never had any issues with people here from the time I've spent residing at these apartments. Also very good monthly rent for how nice of a living space this is. I genuinely hope that I can be a lifetime resident here, so that this apartment is my last and only forever home.
8/10/25 The Management team continues to make me feel welcome and appreciated here at the Hampton House Apartments. I am grateful for all of the help, and recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to call home to apply! The management here was very helpful with the approval process, they made things very easy and I was approved quickly. I had a plumbing issue and used the application they have for renters to request a repair and it was fixed the next morning. It is in a wonderful neighborhood.
It is a great place and I chose it on purpose. Then I realized how how much street noise there is. In January the wind blew all of the heat out of my pace through the windows. I mostly had to wait 20 minutes to get any hot water since I wanted to shower in the middle of the night and I guess the hot water was coming from the boiler in the basement. I’ve lived at Hampton house for almost 8 years. I have always loved it. It’s so close to the art center, green wood, walking trails right next to that. You don’t have to worry about signing up for utilities, internet is now available and I found some great neighbors. Management has also been helpful if you reach out to them with any concern.
I've been living in this apartment for 3 years, and overall, it's been a great place to call home. The location is in heart of Des Moines, with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The apartment itself is well-maintained with all needed amenities. The community is quiet and friendly, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful living environment. The property managers are quite responsive and helpful!
