I haven't even stayed here yet, and the customer service is extremely frustrating. We have stayed at dozens of hotels and never had a problem getting early check in (and paying for it). This place just says "call at noon the day of and we'll see what we can do". I also asked what check in time is, as some guests are being told 3pm, while our reservations say 4pm. The breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts I've had! Giving just 4 stars for room because there was only a fan with cold air, no AC (which removes some of the moisture from the air which increases comfort), although it was not uncomfortable just could have been dryer. But nice room, staff, snacks, hallways, breakfast, etc so a full 4/5 stars overall.
Unforunately, one of our beds reeked of urine and it was incredibly off-putting. Location isn't bad considering you're close to transit and the casino if that's your thing, not great for proximity to the downtown though. Pool was far too cold to use for me but I'm sure fine for others (prob. around 70). Would not stay again, had a better experience at the Comfort Inn on Lansdowne for much cheaper.
