Who took over for Dr Hammesfahr? I really wanted to see him for my son
Dr. Hammesfahr retired in March of 2018.
This is exactly the guy you want — period. He is professional, definately knows his stuff, zeroes in on the issue with laser focus, and is compassionate. If that isn’t enough he doesn’t overbook appointments disrespecting your time and still manages to spend as much time as you need during your appointment. The staff is terrific and the offices/waiting room are all clean and comfortable. Check in is the monitor touch screen system — quick and very efficient. There are simply no negatives.
I had a great experience with Dr. Hammesfahr! He is kind and did not rush me, he took the time to explain everything to me about my injury. The office is well ran and organized. They worked quickly to get my medical records faxed from another dr that I forgot to bring with me. I would recommend to anyone with a knee or leg injury because he is the best!

Going back to Peachtree Orthopedic, they are nicer and care more for you as a patient
I don't believe that just because your a doctor that you should not have respect for your patients time or maybe you just don't care.c
Dr Hammesfahr has been my doctor for many years. I have not been in the office for over 2 years, but recently I hurt my hip and knee. It was so good to see so many of the same faces. Dr Rick remembered my last injury and took the time to catch up with me before examining me. Of course it is always a plus to be able to get the MRI done in the same office. Dr Rick saw me back in two days time for my results and we have a game plan. This practice is one of the best. Never rushed in and out.
No compassion or patience, I was hurting during when he checked my knee and got mad when I ask him to stop.
