They refused to fix our plumbing for weeks and ignored virtually all maintenance until we moved out. Rats in the walls, bathtub panels peeling away to reveal rotten drywall, painted-shut windows
Even though this property management company says they are equal opportunity, they definitely are not. During my showing I explained in detail that my disabled adult daughter lives with me. She has never had a job. She doesn't have credit. When I explained thour situation, I was told told "We look at everything holistically". My income was enough to cover the rent X3, and I had solid landlord references and no evictions EVER. Yet I was still required to do an application for her, as she is over 18. Why a class action lawsuit or the city hasn’t shut this place down I have no idea. Your elected officials are letting you down and don’t consider students as human beings, constituents or voters. Shame on you city of Bellingham for letting this to continue right under your nose.
I sublet a place from this organization for 3 months. Paid a $800 deposit. I kept the place immaculate and cleaned the apartment like crazy when I moved out. Landlord kept the deposit and claimed the pro cleaner was needed.I also got my laptop stolen the same day he as showing my apartment to a future tenant. I wouldn’t recommend this garbage property management to my worst enemy
Edit: they pulled my lease renewal offer after I posted this. Dear students and parents seeking housing, avoid hammer at all costs! I’ve lived at 519 Garden for a year and a half under Jenna Currys management and it’s been the most frustrating experience I’ve had since I moved to Bellingham 6 years ago. Photo is a hole in my balcony from move in day, which still hasn’t been properly repaired since I moved in 18 months ago.
