This management group is great at one thing. Taking advantage of the wallets of college students. Delaying work orders for months and patting their own backs. Disrespectful, unethical abuse of purchasing power. Maybe instead of buying more houses, try making sure the ones you already own are livable. After over 10 years with Hammer Properties, I can say with complete confidence that this company failed us in nearly every way a property management company possibly can. What we uncovered after years of trusting them is honestly shocking. Hammer Properties consistently neglected basic responsibilities, failing to properly clean, repair, or address damage between tenants. I have worked in property management for 10 years and I have been a renter in Bellingham for over 10 years. I have worked with and rented from more than I can count and Hammer has set the bar high. They have been the most responsive for any question, need, and MAINTENANCE request I submitted. My last rental I waiting 6 months for a repair. Nikki and Isaac are wonderful to work with! I couldn’t recommend them enough, or thank them enough for restoring my faith in my local renting market.
