Today I had a great experience. My artist was very gentle and caring. Definitely will be back soon. I love this place.
Had a great first haircut with Hammer & Nails done by Gaby! I did the first timer haircut and was welcomed in by the nice staff, shown all the features, and given a complimentary drink. Gaby, my hairstylist, did a wonderful job helping me find a new look, took her time, and shared tips on how to style my hair in the future. Thank you for an amazing haircut and experience! I’ll definitely be back and will recommend this spot to friends :)
Virginia at Hammer & Nails in Studio City is incredible. I went in needing extra care because I recently had emergency eye surgery, and she was exactly the kind of person you want in that situation. She was smart, kind, and genuinely thoughtful about how she approached everything. She checked in with me, moved carefully, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. So far, I’m really pleased with Hammer and Nails in Studio City, though the website needs some functionality improvement and the scheduling in the store can be a little iffy — I had to wait 25 minutes after my appointed time to actually begin my services today. That said, the work done is very good, and I felt actually refreshed and relaxed and I knew I looked 20x better when I left today! Just two weeks out of my surgery, for a knee replacement. And I really haven't shaved or anything since the last time I was at Hammer And Nails so let's say a good two weeks. I wanted to make a point of coming to the salon so that Gaby could get me back in shape. I hope that they post the before and after pictures for you.
