Seems beautiful at first This complex looks beautiful at first, but it starts to fade when you realize its shortcomings. There are trash chutes in the hallways but people just leave the trash on the floor despite it being against your lease. People smoke right next to the building even though that too is against the lease policies. If you live in the Essex building there are a set of at least 6 stairs you have to go down after you get off the Tilton elevators. Just moved in We literally just moved in this week so we don't have a whole lot to review. Overall, the apartments are beautiful - from the grounds to the common areas to the apartments themselves. The buildings are located right in the heart of downtown but there is on-sight parking for each apartment. The grounds are small but very well maintained. The common areas are beautiful. Terrible! Worst place I've ever lived in my life. Management can't and won't do their jobs, the place is overpriced, cars are constantly vandalized and the office does nothing, and office workers send threatening and harassing notices without merit. Why no one else reviews this place publicly online? The office sent an email to residents asking us not to, to come to them instead so complaints can fall on deaf ears.
