First of all, the person that wrote the last comment about how the staff and chef was rude because they "threw" your food on your plate, obviously does not understand the point of the restaurant. It is a fun and entertaining enviroment. The chef interacts with the people at the table and has fun with them. Once when I was there the chef bounced a piece of brocolli in someone's mouth. It is sooo much fun and the food is sooo good! you get a lot of food too. I usually have enough for dinner the next night as well. Don't listen... read more
I have been to Hamada twice now and had a blast both times. It is great for friends, dates and family dinners. Last time I was there, the chef flipped a shrimp right into my mouth!!! Needless to say, it's a ton of fun and the food is great. I love the filet mignon and all of the great side dishes that come with most of the dinners.
My husband and I starting taking our children here years ago as it was the perfect place to start teaching our then 9 and four year old how to behave in a nice restaurant. The chefs entertain with their flaming volcanos and such so the kids aren't doing the "are we done yet?" My husband who does not stray much from the meat and potatos menu was very impressed with the garlic butter fillet. Everyone was happy.
What can I say??? The food was really GOOD! My family and I took my friend and her family out for her birthday last night and we are still talking about the food this morning! The show that the chef put on was really great. It is very family oriented and the chef involved the kids while he prepared the food. But my goodness, there was SO much food that you had no choice but to take your left overs home. I do suggest that if you are in the mood for a little "dinner & show" that you give Hamada's a try.
