Customer service was the worst. My order was a to go (on lunch break) food was horrible, order was wrong. Called to speak to manager a woman by the name of Lupa was so rude. So I can in to speak to and let him know my order was wrong, and I just wanted what I ordered no discount. Dan said he would not remake food and its not his fault so there is not anything he could do. I told him this was the worse customer service ever. UNSATISFACTORY The quality of the shrimp has changed they now use the pink shrimp and not the gray shrimp. I was very displeased on my last visit the pink shrimp served was very TOUGH and DRY. I spoke to the manager a couple of days later because it did not sit well with me and I was not going to let it go. While at Hamada's bar waiting for my drink I see the spout from the bottle actually disconnect from the bottle and fall into my drink. The bartender removed the spout from the drink, topped with cherries and placed the drink in front of me. I replied - "I'm not drinking that. I saw the cap fall in." With in attitude, she made another drink. I was only at the bar because I was waiting to be seated. Now, I wonder what other nastiness is going on. While they do have good food, I won't risk returning.
I have heard that the food here is good from many friends, but they must not have any taste buds. I recently went and was highly disappointed once I walked in the door by a foul odor. At first I thought it was the water in the indoor pond but after ordering our food I noticed the spider webs on the blinds, dead bugs on the window sill, filthy carpets, dirty walls, and filthy unkept bathrooms. The chef was great as well as the food as a first timer,overall experience wonderful!
This restaurant was suggested to me by my best friends as a good first date. My date and I went and had a good time. We will go there again for our anniversary. The food was fresh and fabulous. I love vegetables and this place has not dissapointed me YET. Never overcooked or undercooked. We had lobster and shrimp. It was well worth the money spent for a 1st date!
