Below Average for the price – Staff was extremely nice. I went in for a manicure/pedicure & waxing (brow/low leg/brazillian) The mani & pedi was average. They had an ok selection of polish. It was my first time having a brazillian done and I thought it went well and was happy with it. I wasn't too happy with my brow wax; she wasn't good at styling. I had hair on my lower legs when I got home. I was not happy about that.

Pleasant surprise – I've been a regular Halina's client for facials and nails with different wonderful Halina's specialists and have always been pleased with their service. Recently, they had a great addition to their team. I got my hair done by another Russian lady named Sasha who did absolutelly amazing job. That was my first experience with their salon and I must say, it was worthy of Halina. Sasha has great skills and style, my blowdry was one of the best I've had for years but, even after I shampooed my hair at home, it... read more

Excellence – I just want to start by saying Halina's European Day Spa is the definition of perfection in the beauty industry. I have repeatedly been satisfied with their five star service and exceptional staff. I feel like a queen every two weeks when I visit the salon from the moment I step foot into the front door.

From a Professional – After retiring from over 25 years in the skincare business pampering others, it was time for someone to take care of me. I did some research online and found three spas. Sadly enough I started with the worst (will not say which), went to second best, and finally tried Halina's. Many spas claim to be "European." Halina's has everything to back up that claim. From an exquisite decor charm, to the specialists to the services. During other facials I had to direct the aestheticians. Halina's staff read my mi... read more

User review by washington123 – After 25 years in the Spa industry of pampering others, it is nice to be able to receive the same favor. This recommendation for Halina Spa comes after my first of many visits. The decor is artsy and is in fact very European. The front desk is a bit prude, but very knowledgeable and accomodating. The Full Day of Beauty is a full day of relaxation by a variety of superb specialists. Take it from a seasoned veteran, Halina's is the best. Although, I have not visited any other spas in Austin, if t... read more

horrible mani and pedi – My friend and I treated ourselves with a 2 hour manicure and pedicure. My friend's nails chipped that same day. The polish was old and very clumpy. The parafin wax was also cheap quality. My nails and toes have already began to chip within 2 days. We were shocked at the lack of skill at Halina's. It was NOT worth $75 each.

Old School – They prescribed for my oily complexion no sunblock or sunscreen or moisturizer! Still use petroleum based products, Facialist had a strong grip and that isn't good for a facialist to have. Not gentle. They were nice, pleasant but not educated in the newest treatments. This is the Halina on Clay St.

Would Not Recommend a Super Deluxe Facial – The SUPER Deluxe pkg incl a massage and warm mitts. First, most spas I've been to will give you a massage while masks are drying as part of the standard pkg. But even for the extra $, the total massage time was < 15 min. They also used plastic on the bed, which was uncomf., the mitts got too hot and made my hands itch. The room was too close to the street (you could barely hear the music over the cars) and esthetically the place is just OK. On the + side, the staff was friendly and... read more
