Service was great, bread pudding could be a bit more authentic aka bourbon sauce and/ or praline.
The food was excellent, the service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was comfortable. I would and have recommended this restaurant.
Took a friend from out of town, one of my favorite places. She really enjoyed the Grilled oysters, gumbo, shrimp and grits, and of course bananas Foster's cheesecake. Yep we did it right. Our server as great. We were there for 3hours, so I tipped the server very well. It's the best place on the coast.
Delicious food- I had grilled reddish and the tuna and crab appetizer. Nice atmosphere. I'll be back to try the Sunday brunch!
These were the best fresh oysters I've ever had, and the best shrimp and grits I've had in years!
This was my first visit to the Half Shell in Gulfport and my experience was amazing. The food was perfect and service was amazing.
