Laura is very talented! I am new to town and was an Aveda color educator for almost 15 years. I was nervous to try a new stylist but I was BLOWN away with her talent. I Let her cut off over 9 inches and I am loving it! TO top it off this is an organic eco friendly salon as well! I HIGHLY recommend Laura!
We were referred to halcyon salon by Megan Pope. We had the opportunity to work with Laura to do our hair and makeup for my wedding. Laura was absolutely amazing and I could go on and on about how wonderful she is. She listens to her customers and makes them feel comfortable. I have long hair and we tried a few options for the wedding and what we choose was something I never dreamed of and it was perfect. She loves her job and it truly shows. Thank you again for everything!
Laura is wonderful and has a beautiful vision for making my challenging hair the best it can be in every stage! It is always a treat to go and I love the fact that it’s a “green” salon too!
Great place
It was my 1st time at this salon. Ed really listened to my vision of what I wanted for my curly hair. He was also very knowledgeable. I left very happy with the results! Will definitely be recommending him to others!
I stumbled across Halcyon Salon quite by accident. I could not be happier. They saw me right away and my stylist, Ed, was a dream come true (and ends up being my neighbor!). The attention to detail, what I was hoping for in a new look was all provided. This will be my salon! I am just thrilled.
I went in for a shampoo and blowout today with Lydia. Let me just tell you, my hair is challenging. Super tight curls 4a curls, easily tangles—this is why I don’t do it myself:) Lydia took her time (even though she was a little nervous at first) and did an amazing job! I highly recommend Halcyon. A great find here in Shelby!
Ed did a great job of talking to me and understanding what I wanted and translating it to my hair. The salon is clean and contemporary. Very nice atmosphere!!
