Just rude I was shocked at how rudely I was treated. I didn't even really know what halal MEANT. So maybe I didn't belong in there... that's sure how they made me feel. The meat was awful. But I found out often it is very dry when it's halal. But don't go in there as a woman with a smile. They won't like you!
Halal International They have fresh meat (goat, lamb, beef, chicken) and deli meats too (halal bologna, etc) as well as many other halal ME/South Asian/African products. The service is good and the owners are friendly and helpful. You can call and place your meat order ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line. They also sell a few clothes (kaftans/abayas/hijabs), books, jewelry, incense, phone cards, etc as well.
Halal International is great!!! I frequently shop at Halal International. All the employees have been friendly and very helpful every time I have shopped. They have gone so far as offering recipes and cooking advice. I have been to a few other stores in Charlotte, this one by far is my favorite.
bad bad bad service i dont think the meat is fresh,i dont trust when they say halal to meat they sell.they are so rude.dont go there...they have no bussiness ethic.i dont recommend them at all.
The meat is great. More improvement needed. On my last visit, I found that the meat was extremely fresh. It cooked up well. I wish that they sold men clothing. My wife wants some imported scented oils. Halal International should get into that market for there is a desire for it.
