Haircut 101 is the best!!! They did my make-up and hair for my wedding and I loved both! I did a trial with them a few months beforehand and they took notes and pictures and were so prepared! They also did hair for my six bridesmaids and my mom and they all loved it!
RecommendedI never really leave reviews about salons but here I am! It took me YEARS to find someone back home that I trusted with my hair and today was the first time I've had someone else other than my usual girl touch my hair. Brittany did such an AMAZING job, even if it was just a trim and some bangs but I couldn't be happier with the end product and the experience.
Love haircut 101 and all that work there! Great people, talented, always a fun, professional experience. Kendra is the bees knees along with Kaitlyn and well... everyone. Highly recommend!
For the price, the interior looks quite undone with stains and holes as well as just drywall in many places. Hair is washed in a grimy looking closet, and when the stylist was drying my hair, she used a round brush that was COVERED in other people’s hair... I ended up paying the same amount of money elsewhere to have my haircut fixed as some of the “layers” in my hair were more like a shelf and the poor job she did of drying my hair tore many smaller pieces where they shouldn’t have been so short. Very disappointing.
I have been coming to Kendra for years and she always does an amazing job with my hair! I’m naturally dark, yet she has done blonde, gray, red and purple tones. The products they use are great, and my hair never feels damaged. Best salon in Boone!

Made an appointment for a blow out for my son's rehearsal dinner. When I arrived on a NOT busy Friday morning, they said that they didn't have any record of my appt although the receptionist told me that she remembered that I called the day before to confirm. They would NOT accomodate me and told me that there wasn't anyone to do my hair then or later in the day. Would never recommend especially for an important event. Went to Shear Shaki and they were wonderful and professional.
Jezebel worked wonders on my hair and I felt so pretty!
