Hair of the Dog opened its doors in 2006. We are a professional grooming shop dedicated to providing quality grooming with your dog's safety and comfort always in mind. Hair of the Dog groomers have completed a 1-year apprenticeship, are insured, and attend seminars on an ongoing basis. We are active in the rescue community and volunteer our services to local shelters/rescues by grooming homeless dogs free of charge.

Sandi & Brandy take such good care of the dogs while at their shop and always do what is best for the dog. They have spent countless hours helping shelter dogs and rescue dogs. These ladies ROCK!!!!
Absolutely wonderful! Sandra did a great job with our foster puppy. He was quite shaggy and had just recovered from Parvo and desperately needed a makeover to go up for adoption. The amazing work she donates to these fosters is just wonderful! Thank you again!!
Sandra Jones and staff does an amazing job grooming! Sandra dedicates a lot of her time to grooming rescue animals for lots of rescues around the KS/MO area to help them find their furever homes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.
I have been bringing Lyla in for years for the ocassional grooming and nail clip. Now that I got my giant RC I bring him in for nail clips too. Even though its a handfull for a 180 lb dog the ladies are always awsome and friendly.
Hair of the Dog is an amazing place! Not only are they friendly, accommodating, and wonderful at what they do, they also are gracious and groom rescue dogs. They are giving and generous and have huge hearts. I have switched groomers, and am now using them exclusively, because of their dedication to saving animals, I can't think of better people to support.
