Currently run by a very good manager Not all Hair Cutteries are created equal, and that is the case here. This salon is all the way on the other side of town from me, but I followed my stylist there when she moved and became the manager. My stylist is wonderful, and she gives me a great cut. However, I took my kids there for the first time recently and didn't get exactly what I wanted for them. My chief complaint is that many times when I call there is another girl who answers the phone and is rather caustic to talk to.
Home of the Worst Haircut Ever I got the worst haircut of my life here. I came in on a Saturday, and I think they called my stylist in on her day off to handle the crowd, because she was in a sour mood. I'm pretty sure she butchered my hair intentionally, because I couldn't have gotten a worse haircut from a chimp with an egg beater. She asked if she could straighten out my sideburns, and I said no, they're fine how they are, and then she said I'll straighten them out anyway and shaved one of them clean off. Hair Cuttery is lucky to have a stylist like Melissa! Melissa is a fantastic stylist, she did a perfect job on my cut and was professional and knowledgeable. I have had some bad luck in the past with other salons, but needed a last minute cut and was extremely pleased with my stylist. I will definitely be back to see Melissa.
Best Hair Style Ever! I needed a trim and color, but couldn't afford the more pricey salons so I took my chances with the Hair Cuttery near my work. I told Rene what I wanted and she explained that a full color would be damaging to my hair due to the fact that I had used a grocery store color a few months prior. She suggested corrective coloring that included deep conditioning and highlights that would give me the color I wanted without doing further damage. Pretty good hair salon As with any salon, some of the hairdressers are excellent, and some I will never let touch my hair again. I had one bad experience here where the hairdresser I saw really did an awful job cutting my hair, nothing was even or anything. However, when I returned the next day the hairdresser that fixed it gave me the best haircut of my life! If you have a regular stylist, then this place is great, and you can't beat the prices.
i liked it its a pretty good place to get a haircut. i used to go here before. stopped only because of prices and they didnt know what type of hairstyle i wanted. but other than that they take care of your hair very well.
Hair Cuttery at Roosevelt Mall I use this particular spot because it's convenient, and I finally found someone who I like. I use Lisa B. and she is very nice, quick, and precise. She knows what I like and don't like. There is usually a wait time here, but most of the time it's only 15 minutes or so. Wash, Cut and Blow dry for $20.
Good Prices i like this place because its prices are lower than many beauty places. You also don't need an appointment and it is in amajor shopping center so parking is good. The stylist arre friendly, and helpful.
Horrible Experience I am a bit surprised by the good reviews. I and my niece, both went here and had Horrible experiences. The stylists are Not very experienced and tend to do what They want and not what you want. My niece went there to get an up-do for a prom and came home crying. Very Rude and Very Dirty place. Would NOT recomment this place. Go outside the city to Oxford Valley if you would like to use the Hair Cuttery, not this location. PROS: CONS: Bad Stylists, Bad Experience
