Hair Cuttery is Great I like the Hair Cuttery on Barracks Road. The staff seemed friendly and my hair stylist was great. I dont remeber her name but she is good at what she does. I didnt have to wait long and she did my hair just like I wanted. I will go back to them, and would recommed them to anyone
All depends on the stylist but I'm pleased! The Hair Cuttery at Pantops is courteous, clean and run efficiently. I like being able to simply walk-in for a hair cut and for a mom of young kids, it is nice that they have flexible night and weekend hours. Of course the quality of the hair cut depends on the who is cutting your hair. I use Megan and she is wonderful. When I was spending $45 on a haircut at another salon, I wasn't getting compliments on my hair but I seem to get compliments all the time with my $14.95 hair cut!
Hollymead Hair Cuttery rocks Lena, Sammie and Sheronda are my favorite stylists. They have amazing skills! i would recommend that hair cuttery and stylists to anyone. The are always very professional and helpful. And, the hours there are great.

dont get amanda!!! hair cuttery barracks is a very busy salon... i landed a bad egg !! my stylist was amanda. she was rude and made me feel small. ill never go back to her. her personality was the same as a wet mop. ask for wanda!!!
RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I had this unfortunate experience with Miranda. I went on for a TOUCH UP on my color and a TRIM. Basically, I just wanted the roots to match my blond hair. Three hours later, I had a burned scalp, green and gray hair, and an uneven haircut! I was so horrified, I could hardly breath. I have never had that experience before. Hair Cuttery can't cut it...in Charlottesville, Va. The Barracks Rd. Hair Cuttery needs better trained staff. The women who cut my hair, 1)didn't own any hair products to use on my hair and had to borrow them from her colleague, 2)She didn't own a flat-iron and had to borrow one also, 3)left one side shorter than the other , 4)the flat iron she borrowed was so cheap it didn't really work , 5)she was unsure if she should cut it wet or dry and to top it off, she didn't seem all that interested in her job or how to cut my hair.... read more

Traumatic! I went there to get a trim and walked out with a chunk of my hair missing. It was 5 inches shorter than the rest of my hair!! After I got home, I saw what had happened, went back there to have it fixed. Sat down, and the same lady grabbed another chunk of my hair, didn't even comb it and held the scissors up to it as if she was going to cut it.
