I recently moved to LA from San Diego and discovered Nelson after doing some research—and I'm so glad I did. I got a men’s perm and haircut, and the results exceeded my expectations. Nelson is incredibly skilled, professional, and clearly cares about delivering great results for his clients. I’ve been getting medium-length perms for nearly four years and have seen many stylists over the past 18 years, but my experience with Nelson stands out as the best by far. I highly recommend him and will absolutely be coming back.

He did an amazing job not only with my new look but also by making me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the process. I used to be his client back in 2013 but unfortunately had to move away to the east coast for some time. I moved back and tried several different barbers and salons but they didn’t quite match the look I was going for. That’s when I decided to go back to Nelson and wow.. he recommended me a hair style based on the texture of my hair and contour on my face. AMAZING work, I just showed Nelson some photo references (wolfcut, shag, perm) and boom he did it just the way I wanted to with little explanation. I also felt calm throughout the process because he is very experienced and knows what he is doing. He also checks up on me on how I felt about the cut and if it was good length. Throughout my time, it was an enjoyable experience and he did his best to accommodate me. LOVE THE TEA!!!
