I have live in Mr. Hailey for almost three years he moved me in February because I was having problems with another tenant. He even worked with me when having to pay my security deposit. Any time I have called about issues he always sends someone asap.

Mr. Hailey rented me an apartment and I have a RAHP voucher through Wake County. Mr. Hailey paid someone to fake an inspection 2 days prior to my lease signing. The apartment had no heat, large gaps in between the door and door jam, front and side door. There were moldy window sills where condensation accumulated after the heat was addressed but never properly fixed and later deemed insufficient. Jerry Hailey is a slumlord! The apartment he rented me was never inspected and 5 months into my lease it failed an inspection for insufficient heat, mice infestation, bad wiring, gaps in the doors and windows, no screens on the windows and faulty locks on them along with several other issues including the worse one where there's two bedrooms each with one window that is blocked by an a/c unit making it impossible to escape from if my daughter and I are ever trapped in them due to a fire. FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES. We returned the apartment to the same (if not better condition) upon move-out. A month later we were hit with charges totaling almost $2,000. Even damages of normal wear and tear in the public spaces was on our bill. Clear violations of NC tenant laws. Also unresponsive to issues with broken windows and cooling units.
