Jerry Hailey is a snake in the grass. I rented an apartment from him on Dorothea Drive. I was under HUD housing (section 8). I had to call an Housing Inspector from the city to correct several issues regarding the house. Mr. Hailey's charges tenants high rental prices for apartments that are not propertyly in line for tenants to move in. Even some of the housing inspectors from the Wake County Housing Authority impropertly inspect the homes before a new tenant moves in. Mr. Hailey lied to me about my eviction and stated he was going give me time to get my money. He also is getting other folk to cover for him, like the Wake County Housing Authority. They may be trying to end homelessness. But they are putting those that need housing in unfit living quarters.
Renting from Jerry Hailey was the WORST experience of my life. He never had anything properly repaired and ignored that my 700 sq ft apartment was freezing and still had a $300 power bill per month. He claimed he didn't get my check, filed for eviction and lied. I asked him about the eviction notice and he said it was a mistake by his staff and I should ignore it.
