Had the opportunity to tour the facility through visithorsecountry. Every person we came in contact with was pleasant, welcoming and an amazing representative of the facility. Sarah Smith was our tour guide. She was knowledgeable, personable and a fantastic source of information. We would definitely recommend the tour!!
My mare Roo has gone through three major injuries in the last four months. Thank you to Dr. Hughes, Dr. Spirino, Dr. Werner, all the Drs I don't know the name of, all the vet techs, all the support staff, and especially Nancy Englund. The care is beyond reproach and not enough good things to say about the staff. In the worst of times they treat not only your horse (most importantly) but you, the owner, with genuine care and respect.
The staff goes out of their way to explain in layman’s terms their cutting edge treatment of our equine friends. I was awed by even the surgeons taking time to explain the procedures they were doing. We saw stages of surgery from prep, the actually surgery and recovery. Amazing. Our tour guide Sarah Smith was extremely knowledgeable. We even got to feed treats to the staff, their blood donor horses.
Exceptional facility, staff and care. It was a great experience for both myself and my horse! Thank you!
