Worst hospital ever! You can get better care in a 3rd world country.
Think twice about going to the ER!!!!!!! Worst experience ever!!!!!! Two nurses to take care of an entire unit!!! We were put in an old section of the ER that was dirty/filthy & my dad was given a hand bell to ring for nurse!!!! Are we in a third world country or what!!!!! Dr never showed up an entire day there!!!! My father had emergency surgery yesterday, no one to inform us in surgical lounge. Very good hospital and wonderful doctors but moving the Womens Health Center was a very inconsiderate move for the patients, The parking situation is horrible there and the little area which is for parking is not a safe place
I AM GIVING HACKENSACK 4 STARS - MY BROTHER PASSED AWAY THERE IN THE ER - NOT SURE WHAT TIME - SO I HAVE TO SAY THE HOSPITAL WENT DOWN A LITTLE. THEY WERE OK WHEN HE WAS THERE ANOTHER TIME - BUT IT ISN'T LIKE IT WAS.
HUMC outsources their hospice care to Amedisys, a fly-by-night organization that let my dead mother lay in her bed for hours while we waited for the "hospice nurse" to show up. HOURS. This a day after waiting SIX HOURS for her to be transferred to a bed. THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL END OF LIFE CARE HERE. It is not only profoundly disrespectful but grossly inhuman. DISGRACEFUL.
Worst experience Ever!!!! If you have an emergency dont even think to come here...
