Best Fish Monger on the East Coast! The shrimp is always the best. The fish is cut to order....and, oh, the extras Jon has in his shop. A MUST if you are in the Brunswick Islands of NC!
Jon Haag is an adult bully and a predator to his employees. Do not believe the false front he gives you as a customer. He is mean and hurtful to everyone who works for him.
Visiting Haag & Sons is a MUST if you are in Oak Island! Staff is friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The food is awesome (may I personally recommend the scallops, the crab cakes and the OMG, so yummy, golden tile fish!). It was so fun waking to the store each night and deciding what to take home and cook for dinner. To hell with eating out!!! I'll take a visit to Haag & Sons over a restaurant any night! Really enjoyed our visit and this place will definitely be our go-to for all our future food endeavors while on vacation! ... read more

The BEST fresh seafood you can possibly get- we go here every time we are in OKI....everything we have ever tried is amazing! The shrimp are a must have each time as well. Friendly service is also a plus! We love Haag & Sons!!!
