Terrible experience, couldn't get out of there soon enough! Will opt for either Northside in Cumming or Northeast Georgia Medical center in Gainesville GA.
This is a great facility!! The doctors and nurses are kind and generous. I have never left my Mom alone there - the docs and nurses have never balked at this but instead, incorporate me into every aspect of her care. Having the hospital located practically in our backyard is an added bonus
Worst experience ever. The ER reception area and bathrooms are filthy. The staff has NO patient relation/customer service skills. Waited 2 hours just to be stuck in a room for another hour with NO contact from anyone. No nurse, no attendant and no doctor!! NEVER coming to this place again.
Tonight around 5:30 we had to visit the GMC Duluth ER with our 7 year old son who was having a severe anaphylactic reaction. We came to the ER after administering the epipen at home and were seen as soon as we walked through the door and within 5 minutes had been seen by two nurses and a physician. Our son had the best care and the team working with him made an awfully scary situation so much more calm and easy for him. We really appreciate and are grateful for everyone we encountered tonight. Thank you!!!

Nursing staff is excellent. Facility is great. ER seems slow, but it is an ER and they have to triage most urgent cases first.
Duluth location worst experience I've ever had. Will never go back. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
Unfortunately I had to have surgery 2x in less 2 years and I spent a little over a week because of them at GMC Duluth combined . Both of the surgeries were performed my Dr. Mason and both times I was admitted on the 5th floor after the surgery . Dr. Mason was excellent as always , great bedside manner and a straight shooter all the way . He is the last of a dying breed. He cares about his patients , and their well being is his first priority . The RN's PCT's and aids on the 5th floor have great bedside manner, quick response... read more
