After colonoscopy, they (two apparent doctors. Why two?) used the wrong insurance codes and ended up charging me thousands of $$$$ for their service that was supposed to be covered 100% by the insurance. Also, they waited more than one year to charge the health insurance.

When having my colonoscopy, I was assured it was preventative. All concerned, the primary physician who completed the scope, NS Gwinnett Hosp and Pathology all billed out as preventative. Paid at 100% from my insurance. All except for Dr. Srinivasan the anesthesiologist. There were polyps that were removed but coded as preventative and all was great. That is until Dr. Srinivasan felt she knew more than the primary physician and all others on the case and billed differently. There were several calls back and forth to the prov... read more
