Unfortunately, all the reviews about rude support staff is true. I went to see Dr. Gutsmann based on a friend who was helped by her. True, Dr. Gutsmann is a good doctor. However, her admin staff, are all incompetent. Phone calls are never returned. They ignore you in the waiting room. Wait times are 30min if you are lucky. Most of the time, it's over an hour. No reasons are given. Her nurses are not friendly. I am contemplating switching doctors because of her support staff.
My last appointment was a 50 minute wait and another 15 minutes waiting in the exam room. When I asked the front desk if this is normal...she replied, we have several patients that are really sick. I feel that the doctor was in a rush to get me out the door and did not explain my results. My last 3 appointments have all taken 30-40 minutes. It also seems that don't keep to the schedule appointments scheduled.
On average the wait is 40 minutes to an hour. It doesn't matter if you have an appointment, walk-ins seem to be a priority!
Worst office ever! It takes them 2 days to return your call so you can make an appointment, if they ever call you back. Then, it's several days before they can see you. When you finally get in, they make you wait forever! The doctor is actually very good, but not worth the poor customer service
