We have been seeing Dr. Guterman since we moved to New Jersey five years ago. We bring several of our children there and he makes each of them feel comfortable with his easygoing personality. He chats with them and makes them laugh, and patiently waits as they take their time choosing stickers. He explains our childrens' treatment in a way we can understand it, and takes the time to answer all of our questions and concerns.
Dr. Guterman is a friendly and professional physician and we have used him since I was a toddler. He is well-trained and caring. Best of all, he takes the extra time to put his patients and families at ease and does the entire exam himself.
We have been seeing Dr. Guterman for 3 years with both our sons. He is child friendly, efficient, and timely. His office is fun for children. Thank you

In opinion is manner is unprofessional in that he blamed an 11-year-old boy for failing to communicate accurately rather than consider that he was unable to assess the patient's problem.
Dr. Guterman is an excellent doctor and his diagnoses are careful and on target. He not only provided first rate medical care to my daughter but he did so with genuine concern for her condition. Dr Guterman cares about his patients, he treats them with patience and concern. He is not only a superb physician but a real mentch ! Highest recommendation.
Dr. Guterman is a wonderful doctor. My children have been patients of Dr. Gutermans for close to two decades and we have had only positive experiences. Dr. G. has a wonderful way of making the children and parents feel at ease. He exudes confidence and answers all our questions clearly and consicely. In case of emergency, Dr. Guterman is always available for us. We have referred many of our friends to Dr. Guterman, and they all have had the same positive experience.
I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Guterman since she was 15 months old, so that makes us his patient for over 15 years! He is the best pediatric eye doctor. He is very thorough & patient, even though he is busy the attention is given to the patient in the chair. He is amazing with children and has a gentle way of speaking to my daughter. I would highly recommend him and already have to many friends and family. Even though I live over 30 minutes away, & sometimes have to wait it is worth it
