My child needed some fillings and we found this dentist had positive reviews. The issues came when we got our bill and found our insurance only paid about 50% of the total. Upon further research we discovered that Dr. Gurtner charges almost double the insurance recommended amount. I understand an insurance company would want to pay as little as possible, but there are dozens of dentists within 2 miles that charge the insurance recommended amount. Do not use them unless you have money to burn.
Gurtner & Gurtner has cured me of my "dentist phobia." I used to dread dental visits, but I actually look forward to them now. The front desk receptionist, Whitney, is friendly, kind, and professional. She always greets me by name and seems genuinely happy to see me. Nikki, who does my cleanings, does a beautiful job. It's "Pinktober" at Gurtner Dental in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness
I used to dread going to the dentist but now I look forward to it since I've become a patient of Dr. Steve. Everyone in the office is so nice and friendly - going there is always such a pleasant experience! So much so that I've decided to start bringing my children there as well - their first appointment is with Dr. Maggie in a couple of weeks!
Dr. Maggie Gurtner is one of the best pediatric dentists I have ever come across. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and awesome with kids. I would highly recommend her!!
The entire staff is lovely. Steve has a great "bedside" manner. He explains everything he's going to do beforehand and takes into consideration any anxiety in a way that's respectful and professional.
Very gentle, professional, and my teeth look so white! The Gurtner Dental team is always on time!
