I had a good amount of dental work done growing up and have always had a sense of fear to visit the dentist. Fear no more! Dr. Steve and his staff were amazing. Both Pam and Deb not only helped me with my anxiety, but also provided such great care for my 3-yr-old. My child needed some fillings and we found this dentist had positive reviews. The issues came when we got our bill and found our insurance only paid about 50% of the total. Upon further research we discovered that Dr. Gurtner charges almost double the insurance recommended amount. I understand an insurance company would want to pay as little as possible, but there are dozens of dentists within 2 miles that charge the insurance recommended amount. Do not use them unless you have money to burn.
