Sand Bag is what describes this company. We had an appraisal done and they are claiming over three years our house value hasn't changed, even though DFW homes have gone up in average by 20% in the last three years. They used comps that were almost a year old. When we disputed it they wouldn't budge. Horrible appraisers! They really screwed us over.
If you have a choice in the appraisal company for a home appraisal (which sadly, most people will not) please stay away from this company. They did an appraisal with comps and noted the quality of construction, condition, age, and lot size was the same (or better) as said comps. They estimated my house to be $8 per square foot ($85) LESS then the AVERAGE of comps ($92.65). When we supplied better comps showing it should be higher and went through a rebuttal process they took 2 1/2 weeks and said they would not adjust price. ... read more
