My husband and I came home to a very cold house a week ago and found our furnace gave up after 35 years. After contacting Gundlach’s, Mike called me to set up an appointment for the next day and also explained financing. He was out the next day to assess the situation. He found that our water heater was also about to go (or fall over whichever came first). We were celebrating the birth of our second child when we came home to an air conditioning system that simply was not cooling the house properly. A problem was quickly diagnosed and we opted for an entire new heating and cooling system. Prior to our new system being installed, the Gundlach service techs did a great job keeping us cool. The trained technicians at Gundlach installed our new system quickly and we were back in comfort. We are very pleased with our new Carrier system and the prompt service received!
Being raised in a family where my Father owned his own business, I know firsthand the value of supporting a Mom & Pop business. We recently had Andrew Gundlach and one of their employees in our business to map out the HVAC systems for an upcoming remodel. We didn't have Central Air in our home so we needed everything from the unit outside and the duct work to the air handler inside. Long story short... they were amazing! From the planning process to the installation everything went exactly as we had hoped. The technicians were timely, courteous and professional. They treated our home as if it was theirs! Our furnace went out on Friday night so we called Gundlach. They were very prompt for an emergency call. Even though the tech was already on a call in Port Clinton they kept me informed of an eta. They got us back up and running that night even though they would not be able to get the necessary replacement motor until Monday. Thank you Gundlach for the great service! Will recommend and use you again for any future needs.
