One of the worst meals I've ever had in my entire life. The velvet elk was disgusting.
Loved it. Impressed with the speed of service when the doors opened at 5pm with quite a line. Beef cooked to perfection. Good cocktails.
Ugh... this place came recommended as the best steakhouse "hands down" in all of Jackson... ummmm nope... Chad's filet medallions were horrendous, Mitchells Buffalo Was average at best and my New York Steak was terrible... all the steaks served on cold plates, the air conditioner was bloeing on us and the meat was cold in two minutes... the wedge salad was limp and the blue cheese "sauce" was digusting... on a good note... the Shimp Cocktail was very good... who would have thunk??? The best buffalo prime rib ever!!! We come every year for our anniversary dinner!
My son and I had the best meal during our stay in Jackson here at the Gun Barrel. We both had the buffalo sirloin steak and it was the best I had ever had. The service was outstanding and they treated us like VIP's. They topped the night off by bringing my son a piece of delicious chocolate cake to celebrate his birthday.......Thanks for a AWESOME experience and cant wait to return next year. You guys ROCK!!!!!!

It is just a wonderful place to eat. The filets are hand cut, and they always make it perfect. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Jackson Hole.
