I have not patronized this restaurant, but noticed the negative comments are not easily posted on FB. The owner may be a gentle, caring man, but his staff seems to be out of control with refusing to serve and then threaten waiting diners with arrest when the complained about others being seated before them. No food is that good. My husband and I came across this place on accident one night and our lives have been forever changed!! Not only is the food exceptional, we always receive top notch service as well. Every time we have come in we are greeted, and seated, by the owner Harry Parker. You can tell how much pride he takes in his business. Some may say it's a little pricey; it is. Gulf Shores is my favorite restaurant and has been for five years. We drive over from Illinois frequently to enjoy their fare. We were introduced to the restaurant when I was in Chemotherapy at Siteman almost right next door. My first lunch there was their Lobster Roll and it was amazing. We love the food, the atmosphere, entertainment and am THRILLED that Gulf Shores is coming to Edwardsville soon! (Try the Crab Cakes--best around!)

Late dinner but worth the wait. So impressed with Leslie, our server, who remembered our "usual" dining choice. We haven't been here for over a year for sure...used to come at lunch frequently tho when my husband and I both worked on Olive. Owner is a great guy too! If you haven't eaten here yet, put it's on your list of places to try! <3
Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. The food is delish. Service is always wonderful. I have a 3 and 5 year old (so we eat early) and it's their favorite too - the staff is always great with them. The owner is so personable and has put so much heart into the business. I highly recommend you patron...way better than a chain.
