Me and my mother went to the Creve Coeur location. I didn't not like the service. I asked the to go order person about the Red Beans and Rice if it had meat in them and did it have green peppers in them (I am allergic to green peppers) I was told no twice. I ate a spoon full on the way home before 5 mins my tongue swells. I call the restaurant to tell them my complaint they give me the owners number call him he had not one ounce of concern. Live music at lunch and crazy good shrimp and grits. I will be back!!!!
We came in his evening at 7 pm and was told there was a 45 minute wait. It is now 8:28 and finally are seated for dinner. According to the manager, on nights they have live music most people just sit and talk. Something to keep in mind if you are actually coming to eat. Be ready for a ridiculous wait. I would report on the food but this issue has ruined the entire evening so I'm afraid that I would not be unbiased.
My cousin took me for my belated birthday dinner and just the ambiance alone was alright with me. My food was delicious. No complaints form the peanut gallery!
My husband and I had never visited Gulf Shores and won't be back. The appetizer was good as was the service and the ambience with the live singer pleasant if a bit loud for such a small place. But our dinners were so bland.. It was like they forgot to season anything. My husband got the dump dinner and I got the crab cakes and shrimp. Not a single seasoned item in the bunch. I don't know if that is normal or if they expect you to use the cajun spices on the table. Joe's Crab Shack is way better.
