loved the look if the place with the dolphins and sand out front. great sand pit for the kids to play in. All of our food was VERY good. The menu has something for everyone (and we are picky). Great service too. Highly recommend
busy restaurant. it is busy because it is GREAT. WE WERE pleasantly surprised at how GOOD the food was . everything was hot and fresh. seafood was great. everything seemed home made. no bottled sauces bought from a store. They have amazing chefs

Absolutely appalled at the lack of service. Had a group of 6 adults and 1 child.... Have been waiting for over an hour and to my surprise a group of six adults that arrived 45 minutes after us just got called in to be seated. That's right, they waited for 15 minutes....and we are still waiting. As others have said, numerous dirty, empty tables can be seen from the windows. Every time I come here, I have to eat at Gulf Island Grill! Our group of 7 came tonight. We waited for about an hour but were able to order drinks from the bar. We were seated & our server was prompt in getting our orders. Food was delicious & was our favorite place to eat thus far on the trip!! Our waiter couldnt have been more attentive. He did get one of the orders wrong but more than made up for it w/ extra food & a free dessert! I will keep coming back as long as yall are here when i visit!

It took us an hour to be seated and several parties of our same size were seated ahead of us. I genuinely think we were forgotten b/c soon after we asked the hostess what was going on, we were seated. Twenty-five minutes for the appetizer. No plates for that either. Can't get half shells there but the food was good. Just took a long time. Call and make a reservation and order your food on the phone too!�
