We spent part of the morning at the vet with Sierra. Yesterday, we noticed a large red spot on her belly, and her eyes were all watery. Then this morning she threw up. We were lucky to find a vet open on a Saturday and they were awesome. Thank you to Gulf Coast Veterinary Center in Spring Hill for getting us in. I highly recommend them. It looks like she got into something in the backyard that was poisonous. It created the rash and the watery eyes. They gave her a steroid shot and we have a spray to put on the rash. BEWARE! This office is ALL about the money, rather than, caring for animals. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. What kind of vet CHARGES to scan a lost pet? Gulfcoast will! I have 2 pets who have the gold plan of their petly health program and still end up owing money without being told ahead of time. They just want to up sell you on anything and everything (I'm sure they get kick backs). The owners are money greedy or in desperate financial distress. They are also almost criminally deceiving on their pricing. BEWARE.
This place is absolutely amazing! I can't thank the staff and the doctor enough for their swift action to saving my cats life today!! When you feel helpless and like you're about to lose your baby these people pulled through! When I called with her symptoms they got us in asap! Two other vet places and one we've used very often for my dog either put me on hold or could get me in Thursday! And she didn't have until Thursday!!! We will be going here now and always! �
