I donated for the first time here in the States, had donated in Canada before. The staff educated me about platelets donation so I chose to do that, Canada Had never discussed that option with me. It took about 90 minutes and must be sure to have a big breakfast before donating again, got light headed and nauseous but I was still able to complete as the staff were amazing! Adjusted my bed, ice pak, snack etc. will be going back for sure!
This is my first time here but is very comfortable and you have many information about different types of donations .
I have been coming here for a year now. The staff here is AMAZING. They are nice, funny, knowledgeable, and caring. I always donate platelets and my pressure constantly drops. They cover me with blankets and give me hot water gloves to hold. I saw one of the workers donating at the same time I was this. They are truly caring. I will continue coming here for future blood donations.
