Great shop! The turnaround time for such great work is really amazing. I took a couple of guitars in and they had them ready next day. One of the guitars was a Daisy Rock with a neck out of whack. Yes, I said Daisy Rock. After the mean setup done by Ann Arbor guitar, I defy anyone to play it and not enjoy playing. Dave was great and very pleasant to deal with as well. Would definitely recommend.

I took my 1968 Fender 12 string acoustic in to see what could be done to bring it back to life. It was getting close to unplayable and Dave checked it over and found that with some work it could be given some new life. His evaluation also pointed out a need for more extensive work to be done on the bridge and gave me an honest opinion on the value of putting the additional money into a guitar of this type.They reset the neck and with the new strings, my guitar is playing better than I could have ever hoped for. Yeah he's worked on all the stringed instruments that our group uses. We are all smiles, especially Jeff, our bassist.
The setups Dave does on my acoustics and electrics are superb, not to mention the fact that the turnaround time is lightning fast. Having a real luthier working on your guitfiddle makes all the difference.
Had a serious 'Martin Pick Guard' issue with my 1974 D-35... The Factory recommended I take it to Ann Arbor Guitar, as a number of their luthiers were trained in this studio, and they were the most qualified luthiers in my area. Dave not only reassured me that my issues were somewhat common for an instrument from that era, but also explained the why's and how's of the necessary remedies.....
