The greatest surgeon, my tocayo, my friend, Dr Guillermo Amescua.
Dr. Amescua did my cataract surgery In both eyes these past 3 weeks. I cannot tell you how happy I am. He is fantastic. Within 5 days of the surgery, I am seeing almost 20/20 in both eyes. I have worn glasses since i was 6...60 years of glasses and now I can see perfectly. I wish he was my ophthalmologist in NY.

I met Dr Amescua in 2017 under very scary conditions. After several visits with different ophthalmologists, Dr Amescua was referred to me as last resource. I was diagnosed at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for an acanthamoeba keratitis and Dr Amescua embarked with me on this long journey to recovery.
