The Inn at Houndslake has got to be up there with the best. It really has a European flavor. My wife and I have stayed in hotels and inns throughout Europe. The Inn at Houndslake is like we are still in Europe. Peggy and the service staff aways greet us and make us feel like family. We had our home built at Woodside Plantation and, if the opportunity arises, will stay at the Inn from time to time. It's not just the breakfast, the coffee, and the evening Cookies, it's the ambiance and the feeling of belonging.

The Inn is a hidden treasure in Aiken. It's not the Ritz but makes up with its charm and staff. Of course, you need to meet the owner, Peggy. She's a true southern lady.
