We only planned to stay for one night but stayed for three. Love the staff and the owner was wonderful too! Our king size room was very roomy. The breakfast was simple but having real plates and silverware made you feel at home. Quiet gem on a golf course. We don't play but really enjoyed our stay. Dinner at the country club was wonderful too. Our dog Blue enjoyed running up and down the halls and the staff treated her like she was their pet. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Wonderful staff and retro feel!
Loved this place! We stumbled across this place while booking for the Augusta Triathlon, and so glad we did. While the rooms may not be posh, the place is right out of a Hallmark movie, especially in the fall. The people were so friendly, and Aiken is a very quaint little town. A true gem in Aiken! Location is perfect, right on country club golf course. Easy walk to wonderful pub for drinks and dinner.
What a gem. This family owned and run boutique hotel sits rights on the golf course. What a view seeing the sunrise overlooking the 18th hole! The staff was very nice and their southern hospitality made the stay extra nice. My brother and I stayed here overnight on the way back to Charleston. It was a word of mouth referral, and OMG what a great place. Beautiful place to relax without worrying about the crush and rush of the main stream. Reminds me of growing up, and the family homestead during the holidays. Golf in walking distance from the room. Trails to walk on, and the Country Club has multiple eating options. No need to drive anywhere. 5 Stars for sure.
