Almost impossible to cancel service. Requires signature of senior receiving service on a "cease and desist letter" to cancel. I had to threaten with legal action, BBB, and attorney general complaint before they would cancel my mom's service and refund amount billed after I notified them of cancellation (via signed email letter). They have a one start (out of five) BBB rating and billing/cancellation is the #1 complaint. Buy elsewhere!
Beware! My Father has Medical Guardian and while traveling over 1, 200 miles away from his home he accidentally hit the emergency button. After they talked it should have been resolved. No, wasn't resolved. Medical Guardian dispatched EMS, who kicked in his door (as they should). The issue was that if Medical Guardian has actually checked his location before notifying EMS he would have a working front door. Now he is out $1,000 for a door and now they are ignoring my emails; complaints. Never again! Please look elsewhere!
Ridiculously expensive not to mention underlying costs and details they do not tell you about when u purchase. I got this for my mom and when purchasing it i was told if insurance got her one then they would refund me as long as it was sent back in 30 days. To find out you really only have ten days or they keep most of the money.. she never turned it on muchless opened it and only gave me a 60$ refund after giving them over 175$ because she lives 3 hours away and was in hospital i couldn't get to it til she came home.
