Bought a car from these guys recently. Test drove vehicle. As soon as we started, the check engine light came on. My mistake was believing them when they said the code was for a "grounding wire." They called the mechanic who (according to them) had done a tune up on the vehicle. I made a bid on a used car on Ebay and the dealer processed the paperwork via email, closed the auction, and I went along - I assume to circumvent the Ebay buyers protection. After I made the downpayment, I suggested to come to PA (from FL) and pick up the car (I live 1,000 miles away). The salesperson wanted to have a wire transfer and arrange shipment because he said he was not sure if the car would make a 1,000 mile trip (it was advertised in excellent running condition)? RecommendedA great experience with Jeff today at GT. I called him to hold the Wrangler I wanted and when I arrived it was running and detailed. Also I wasn’t there long like you usually are at a dealership. They had a great inventory of other cars too. I highly recommend the folks there.
Not worth the visit, total waste of my time. I called the day before my visit to make sure the vehicle was still in stock, and it was. Told them I would be there the next morning. Arrived and immediately noticed the vehicle was repainted, even though it had a clean carfax. I was willing to look past that, but when the vehicle wouldn’t start, I left. Bad experience! I had to contact them... It had been four days since they got my personal information, then the promised to call back, but never did; and they did not either have the courtesy to give feedback or an explanation justifying their THEIR " jerky" BEHAVIOR.
Great experience, would highly recommend - I primarily worked with Jeff (who answered about a hundred emails of mine) and Eugene (sorry if I got spelling wrong!). They were attentive and quick to reply to all emails. I ended up buying a 2006 forester XT from GT Motors PA - unfortunately I got really busy and couldn't write a review quickly enough.
