Tried to eat downstairs but they did not have pizza and wouldn't bring it down, so we moved upstairs and all had pizza, it was very tasty! Will definitely return when in the area!
Pete was an awesome bartender, server, beer connoisseur, and proud townie (not totally sure he lives there but he definately loved it like he did). Totally coming back and leaving with a growler full of deliciousness. Hoppa Loppa IPA was better than any New Glarus beer and most beers made in SE WI.
Great little brewpub in midst of Mt Horeb...beers are great...grab a tour and stay for some pub grub...grump chips are awesome...when available which is not very often grab some Amnesia...given in small pours...hence the name...eat drink and be grumpy...
Good beer and fantastic pizza. It was very busy but we were made to feel welcome and looked after very well. Might even come back again while we are in the area😁
The Ost spinet was amazing. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the pretzel rolls were so good I bought a 6 pack to go. I also bought a growler of sunflower of which I will buy again next time I am in the area.
Found this fun spot in Mt Horeb, which many might think fits my current attitude about Trump. Is a great spot with delicious food, flat screen TVs, microbrews and a Cheers-like atmosphere, where everyone knows you name...but not mine cause I've never been here! The salad was plentiful and delicious! The Grumpy Troll is a local hang out, that welcomes strangers and is a great place to trip upon!
