I think everyone there was very friendly, efficient, accurate and nice.
Jimmy was none too happy to be at the dentist today and the staff at growing smiles were up to the challenge. The assistant Tyler was gracious enough to try without being too scary and Dr Kristen did an amazing job of actually getting all the necessary cleaning and inspection done. I was impressed.
My daughter and I love how caring and great with kids Dr. Kristen and her staff are. She actually loves going to the dentist! The place is super clean and cute too. My daughter gets to watch her favorite TV show during the cleaning, pick out her toothbrush and sticker, then she gets a token for a prize. When she had her filling done, I was really worried, but Dr. Kristen made it a good experience for her and she actually had fun during the procedure!
The team at Growing Smiles is AWESOME! The kids look forward to their appointments and ask to stop in every time we walk by (which is often). Dr Reena and her staff go out of their way to make the kids feel comfortable and in control; our visits are much less stressful than at our previous office. We are ALL very grateful to have our children at a compassionate practice.
We have had a fantastic experience at Growing Smiles. Every interaction (with the dentists, hygienists and receptionists) has been patient, kind and understanding. I love Dr. Reena's approach - she is not an alarmist and is very pragmatic with parents, and she communicates exceptionally well with the kids. Once again I can help but be very thankful to Dr. Shah for being great at what she does. She has been my child's dentist since J was 5, he is now 12 and with braces. The cleaning went smooth and quickly. :)
I have two young children (ages 2 and 5) who actually look forward to going to this dentist here! The staff is professional and kind. The entire office is geared towards children, with televisions on the ceiling and toys in the hall. As a huge bonus, the dentist really listens to the parents, respect their opinions, and offers guidance and support when asked. I've recommended Growing Smiles to three other families (and they all love it!).
I love how Dr. Shah is so very patient with my four year old who doesn't want to be anywhere near a dentist office. She coaxed him into getting in the chair and went his speed, slowly building trust. I always feel comfortable and confident that we are getting excellent care at Growing Smiles.
My son is almost four and has a problem self regulating and a little sensory sensitivity. This means new experiences can be really tough for us. He won't sit still and can completely melt down in front of anyone if he doesn't want to do something. Needless to say, I was really worried about the first dental appointment, so I waited longer than I should have!
