we took our son to his first appointment at 2 years old. he was NOT excited to have his teeth cleaned, but all the staff were so professional, understanding, and turned what could have been a difficult situation into a rather enjoyable one. we are excited to bring him back in january for checkup #2

DR Kristen is a rare find. She loves her job. She loves kids and cares for them as if they were her own. You won't find that anywhere. My oldest is now 16 yrs of age and doesn't like leaving Dr Kristen. If your looking for a dentist for your children LOOK NO FURTHER you have found one that you will be sad when your kids grow and must move on. enjoying going to the dentist with your kids is something not a lot of people can say. I can !!!

I live about 45 minutes away from this practice, but Dr. Shah is so worth the drive. Prior to going here, my child had to endure a couple of bad dental offices. She would cry whenever i even mentioned dentist. But after finding Dr. Shah upon someone's recommendation and her good reviews we gave her a shot and we are so happy we did. I explained to her how traumatized she was from the past dentist and she took plenty of time with my daughter to make her feel good about the visit. Now both our kids love going there. No more te... read more

This place is the best. My daughter had trauma to her mouth and everyone made me (mom) feel like everything was going to be ok. They have start of the art equipment and clean friendly environment. I have 3 kids and they all love going.

Growing Smiles is hands down the best. We took our 2 1/2 year old son for his second visit today. The hygienist was a pro at working with him and making him feel as ease. And, Dr. Kristen is just plain fabulous. Her bedside manor is amazing and made what could have been a very difficult visit very easy and enjoyable. I would hands down recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

I highly recommend the Growing Smiles practice and Dr. Kristin. The staff is very professional and helpful and work so well with kids! They have televisions, kids shows, headphones, and all sorts of other things to distract. Dr. Kristin is wonderful and really helps keep the kids calm and happy during their visit.

I took my 18-mo-old son to Growing Smiles for his first dental visit and we were very happy. We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and the waiting room is a great, kid-friendly space with room for a few strollers. The entire office is bright, pristine, and smartly designed with children in mind (There is a child's size toilet in the bathroom, in addition to the adult toilet and changing table). The dental assistant and Dr. Shah were both very kind, gentle, and professional. I was amazed at how well the exam went and... read more

My daughters, aged 4 and 2, visited here for the first time together. I was incredibly nervous about the whole process - the fact that they were going together and just going to the dentist for the first time. I can tell you that the entire experience was fantastic! They truly know how to work with children, any possible thing that could go wrong they already have a solution waiting. Both my girls thought everything about it was actually fun - who says that about a dentist visit?

We have been going to Growing Smiles for 4 years now. Every time we go, I am so impressed by the way the practice is set up to serve children (and their parents!). Dr. Kristen is very thoughtful and careful regarding my children's teeth without pushing more tests/treatments than they might really need. She takes time to explain what she is seeing in their mouths and makes sure that my kids also understand why she is asking them to do certain things. I'm so thankful for her and her team and my kids love going to the dentist!
