I took my son to the ER on Sunday for several stomach pain. They did routine blood work and a stomach ultrasound. Found impacted gallstones. He was admitted to the hospital & scheduled for surgery on Monday. I can't say enough about the date he received while he was a patient at GCMC.
As a registered nurse. I would not recommend this hospital. Horrible doctors. Nurses bringing wrong medications to my father in the ED. A while later another nurse pokes her head in and says oh good your abx is done running. Ahh, my father never had an IV running and it wouldn't have been levaquin if he did have an IV abx. Then conflicting orders once we got my dad in to his room. They did nothing for my dad despite keeping him 2 days.
I was recently treated at the Grove City Medical Center and I had very good treatment. Within a minute upon arriving I was in a room with a nurse and doctor. I can't remember the nurses name but she was so pleasant and experienced. Dr. Molero, you rock. Made my little stint bearable. Thank you all so very much.
I received foot surgery here yesterday and the staff was absolutely wonderful!!! Made my experience very easy and took wonderful car of me!!
Went thru the main door on a Saturday. and there was absolutely no one arnd. My mother needed x-rays taken ..had to ring Bell to get someone there. They made us wait for results in the lobby and after an hour ..once again I had to ring the bell. Not once but twice just to find out that they totally forgot that we were there. Then the excuse was that one shift didn't tell the other shift that we were waiting for the results. Not pleased at all
Try thier best to kill you. Go in for swollen legs you will leave with kidney failure. Had to leave here to go to Erie ER.
