I've taken my pit to grooming tails twice now. And previously my shitzu to them once. It has been a pleasant experience each time. My pit is the sweetest dog and has pretty bad anxiety especially with cages, and they made sure to leave her out of a cage. We only have to have her get a bath and nail trim, but the experience is great. And our shitzus haircut was great. My fur baby always seems to be happy and loves getting pampered. Thank you all so much for being a groomer we can actually trust. Just brought our Maltese/Shih-Tzu for the first time today. The owner was very thorough when we dropped him off asking about medical history/any moles or anything they might catch while grooming. We have a big standard (90 pound) goldendoodle, an aussiedoodle, and a mini goldendoodle. It has been really hard to find a groomer who will not try to make our doodles look like poodles. We like the fluffy teddy bear look. Our oldest is almost 5 years old, and we’ve been to several different groomers in that time. They did a fantastic job on my Pomeranian. Better than where we used to take him.
I was extremely nervous leaving my pitbull mix rescue there super long because he has never been to a groomer. They were very understanding and got him bathed as soon as possible and I picked him back up in less than 45 minutes. Very friendly staff.
We love Grooming Tails! Our previous groomer of 10 years began to fail us time and time again. After burning one of our doodles we said we would never go back! We decided to try Grooming Tails and absolutely love the service we receive. They make sure to get specific directions on how we want our dogs cut and follow our requests.
