Service was bad
One of the best jalapeño margaritas that I have had. Nice and spicy

Highly disappointed! The server was amazing, but the food was mediocre at best! Steak was over cooked and dry as the Sahara Desert, Broccoli was not steamed at all, and the supposed amazing Gruene Fries were a bad attempt at fried potatoes!

La emoción con la que iba a conocer el restaurant la arruinó las 2 horas de espera�� ya cuando nos dieron nuestra mesa estábamos frustrados, acalorados y hambrientos. La comida estuvo bien pero nada extraordinario. El servicio de la mesera bueno y la atmósfera del restaurant fue lo que más me gustó�� Volvería a ir por el lugar pero nunca en sábado que me imagino es el día más solicitado��
It’s amazing to see a restaurant full of people dining,with no A/C, in 100 degree heat! Says SO much about The Gristmill’s service, atmosphere and food!
Nice view of the Guadalupe River. Attentive wait staff. Best fried catfish I have ever had. "Gruene" beans were crispy & delicious in a style we've never had before. Definitely worth the wait.
