Greystone The Steak House is TERRIBLE!!! The worst place to go downtown!!!! I had a filet that didn't look or taste like 1! Had to send it back..was full of grizzle! DON'T GO! Service was TERRIBLE! Price 4 2 of us was $120.

Best steak in town! WOW, do not miss this place if you like meat. Their food & service is top notch. The duck was fabulous, but the fillet mignon was unforgettable. I will judge all steaks against this one from now on. The prices are steep, but so worth it. Indulge here, you won't be disappointed.

support a local steakhouse This is a great place to get your bone-in ribeye. I would highly recommend the Oyster Rockefeller and any of the sides. The service is prompt and personalized.

Best San Diego steakhouse avoid the more commercial steakhouses (like Morton's, Ruth Chris) and head downtown for this wonderful place. Although often crowded, the atmosphere is lively and the decor is attractive. The 48 oz porterhouse for two is cut right at your table! This is the first place I tried Elk chops and they were very well prepared. The seafood, sides and appetizers are prepared with the same loving care that the steaks are given.

World Class Service, World Class Food We love a great meal and will pay extra for great service, this place tops them all!! It is beautiful, cozy and had such charm. The service was the Best we have ever received, anywhere! The food was to die for. So many choices so little stomach space. Our Waiter made us a Custom "Sampler" Plate with a taste of four different types of meat! If your looking for great food, nice wine selection and supper service make yourself a reservation at this World Class Steakhouse. We spent 400+ for 4... read more

Worst Steakhouse I've been to – I have eaten steaks in various cities and never have I had such a bad experience. The meat was not particularly good and overcooked (which is hard to do when the order is black and blue). The service was terrible and rushed even though the restaurant was empty. This was not a super recent visit, so it is possible they have have improved, but it would have to be a huge change to make the place passable.

Ok Steaks – Went here based on the excellent reviews it's received here. Have to say that it lived up to them in some respects, fell short in others. The food was good to very good. I don't often mention specific dishes but I think I need to explain. My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We started with the tomato and onion salad with bleu cheese - very good - and the shrimp and lobster bisque - also very good. For a main course I ordered the elk (and my wife had the lobster risotto. The elk was very good but I wished... read more

Knats – There were knats in our wine, in the salad, and just flying all over the place. The steak wasn't that good either. The food was cold, the wine list was average. There were no speciality drinks.

Horrible New Year's Eve – New Years Eve night was awful. Meats were pre-cooked as well as the side's. They were sitting on sheets as I went to the restroom. All were medium though we ordered 2 rare, 1 well, and 1 medium. All 4 were cold along with sauces and sides. What a joke for $400.00. If I order a $40 filet and ask that it be rare, without sauce or shoestring potatoes, I expect it to show up that way, not the same way as every other filet is served. Neither the server or anyone else seemed to care. It was a busy night a... read more
