I miss the good ole days when bike shops where there to help you out. It didn't matter if you purchased the bike from them. I don't expect work for free. Happy to pay for the work but if they didn't sell it they don't want to work on it. BTW all I wanted was a new tube for my back tire. Wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

I had two very poor experiences with Grey Ghost, specifically Steve. The first was purchasing a bike from a fit with him that was much too small for me (sadly at the time I didn't know better). The second was when I went looking for upgrades to that same bike and was told that I wasn't fast enough or fit enough to be worthy of upgrades. In fact, they'd be wasted on me. I came to the bike shop with an abnormal request . Brought my golf push cart that had a seized hand brake, same mechanisms on a bike. Niall (apologies if misspelling) was incredibly nice , willing to look at it and fixed it in a few minutes. He saved me from having to buy a new push cart and did not charge me for his time as it just needed special type of lubricant that I hadn’t tried. Professional. Kind .instructive on what issue was and how to fix it. Not sure if he is owner or an employee, but he was awesome.
